He was a stalwart of wrestling and will always be revered as a pioneer of the sport.His championship run with Atlas was historic as he opened the door for other coloured wrestlers to stake their claim in the wrestling community. Even after his retirement, Rocky Johnson changed the face of professional wrestling as he trained his son to become a superstar. His son, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, obviously exceeded all expectations and became a transcendent superstar for WWE. Rocky Johnson’s passing has left a big hole in the business of professional wrestling and it can bee seen by the amount of tributes that have poured in since his death.WWE chairman Vince McMahon, Triple H, Mick Foley, Kevin Nash, 2-time Hall of Famer Booker T and even All Elite Wrestling have come forward and sent their condolences to The Rock’s family for the death of a wrestling legend.A loss for every fan of @WWE, Rocky Johnson was a barrier-breaking performer.
